I feel certain I'm not the only one noticing that feeling of wanderlust bubbling up as the summer heat arrives and the fog of the pandemic begins to lift.
We told our kids we were planning a road trip along the Atlantic Coast and their immediate response was "Can we pack our suitcases?!!!" Our response, "Heck yeah!!"
Here's what we're packing for our littles and why:
Brother and sister are a match set in our henley bubble (him) and ruffle sunsuit (her) in Old Rose stripe. Light as air organic hemp and cotton blend fabric make these pieces a must for the summer. Pairs beautifully with organic gauze styles--blush shown here. My goodness, we love a boy in a pink.
For summer heat, you can't go wrong with gauze anything. Our girls and boys alike will pack their gauzy overalls for a precious one-and-done outfit. We throw these on for quick trips out to lunch or early morning strolls for coffee and donuts or finding shells on the beach. Shoes optional.
Wear everywhere gauze overall in organic cotton; available in white and blush.
Coastal towns are the absolute best for great food and relaxed, yet absolutely stunning, style. We have made it a habit to include our children in these gustatory adventures (pro tip: restaurant behavior improves with practice). It's fun to get dressed up in that easy, breezy way of summer for our family dinners on the town. For a slightly dressed up vibe, we love the linen button front pocket playsuit for little guys and cross back pocket dress for our girls.
Travel time means a nap if we're lucky, so we wear the softest and snuggliest of outfits (what some might call jammies-in-disguise) so we can travel in comfort and style.
Cozy tees in oatmeal, lilac, organic buttercup, and grey herringbone are comfort defined; available through 9/10 years. Make a set with matching harem pants for kids up to 3/4.
Bon voyage, Harbour friends and family!! We can not wait to see photographs and hear stories from your summer adventures.
